Sessions

Model sessions below have recently passed the FFA coach education process with video and session plan provided as examples of what is considered the current standard. This is not a way to copy but a way to see the process in action and to give people an understanding what level is required.

A HUGE THAKS TO THOSE WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THIS PROJECT

C Youth License

This license is designed to  develop players aged between the ages of 9 - 13. The focus is on 4 key skills.

  • Running with the ball
  • Striking and passing the ball
  • 1st Touch
  • 1 v 1

B License

This phase focuses on the 14 - 17 year old players. As the focus suggest 'Game Training'  is about becoming positional specific in the desired actions of the players and as such training needs to be more closely related to the ares of the field the players work within in. This includes with attacking, defending and transitioning between these moments.

A License

The focus is still on the game training phase with coaches having to identify football problems, and then use the game training component to help players solve problems in much greater detail. Additionally coaches are required to implement video analysis presentations and annual football conditioning programs within a professional environment.
